Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park Memorial Day Festival

Not sure what to do Memorial Day Weekend? Well, just a 5-minute drive from Brody Terrace Apartments is the Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks War Memorial Park and they are holding their annual Memorial Day Weekend Festival. 

It's so nice that the City holds this event! They have ridden (including a Ferris wheel and mini roller coaster), carnival games with prizes, and a stage for live entertainment. There are also many local refreshment options.

There is no charge to enter, and you pay per the ride (usually three tickets, $1 apiece)

The Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks War Memorial Park is a great place to spend time with family any weekend! It features a Tennis Court, Community Pool, Baseball Diamond, Basketball Courts, Children's Play Area, Football Field, Indoor Gym, Picnic Tables, Soccer Field, Volleyball Courts, and Jogging Path.
