During the holidays there are a lot of awesome things to do, but they are all essentially the same (we aren’t complaining, Christmas is awesome). But if you are looking to spend an evening trying something new, the Westfield mall in Sherman Oaks will be hosting an ice carving demonstration inside the shopping center near the Macy’s.

The fun takes place next Wednesday, December 21st from 5 to 7pm and is completely free of charge and open to the public. The demonstration will feature a professional ice carver sculpting a holiday design right into a large block of ice in from of a live audience (sounds awesome right?). The event tends to get a little crowded as most people in the shopping vicinity tend to stop and watch for a couple of minutes. So if you plan on being in the area next Wednesday, stop by and watch this awesome demonstration.
