A great resource is the website Volunteermatch.org which lets users narrow down volunteer opportunities in their area with a search engine that provides wonderful results. If you are looking to help out an organization serve Thanksgiving dinner, you can find it on the site. If you are looking to volunteer with the elderly, foster children, or the homeless, there will be plenty of great organizations looking for help. Check out the site and have a wonderful time giving back this holiday season.

The Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking volunteers for the various community events they host and oversee throughout the year. Summer is a buy time for the city with festivals, carnivals and various events already schedule and any help you can provide would go a long way in make this summer a magical one. The Chamber of Commerce hosts blood drives, book drives, city beautification events and other projects.
