Kids can get bored at the drop of the hat—especially during weekends or on those occasional days off from school. The best way to keep your kids entertained without resorting to video games or television is to have a set of activities ready to go whenever your kids might need them. Here are three easy craft to do with your children.
 

Paper Bag Socket Puppets: use paper bags to create a good old fashioned sock puppet. Have your child draw faces and clothing or use construction paper. Try making a Mickey Mouse or Cookie Monster puppet.

 

Slime: can be a blast to play with and is also easy to make. It only requires three ingredients, water, corn starch and food coloring. Just mix the ingredients until you have the proper consistency.

 

Cardboard Tube Characters: use old paper towel tubes and have your child create fun characters like Olaf from Frozen.
